Wood Fired Bowl

1,500.00

This is an easy-to-scoop bowl. Thrown with the intention of mimicking the yunomi cups, it is also comfortable to hold and eat from.

Fired in a wood-kiln, it has ash depositions on the inside of one side of the bowl. The glaze drip is created by ash deposition, which acts as a flux, causing the glaze to flow down. The brown patch you see below the glaze is also because of this flux action.

Disclaimer

Each piece is handmade, so slight variations in size, shape, and glaze may occur even within the same design. These characteristics are part of the individuality of hand-crafted pottery. You may notice natural glaze flows, small dots or bubbles, gentle warping, or subtle kiln marks at the foot. These are not defects but inherent traces of the firing process that make each piece unique. For these reasons, returns are not accepted.
