Small Tumblers Set – Speckled White

A set of three tumblers. Hand-made, trimmed with chattering effect and fired in a gas kiln in a reduction atmosphere. The speckles are prominent on the lips of the tumblers. The chattering marks and slanting lines on the tumblers are created by trimming them at a specific angle and consistency. These speckles are made of the iron particles in the mug that come to the surface when fired in a reduction environment. The firing process requires a high degree of precision to get these results.

• Hand washing is recommended.
• Avoid dishwashers, microwaves, ovens, and direct flame.
• Please be sure to wipe with a towel after washing.

Each piece is handmade, so slight variations in size, shape, and glaze may occur even within the same design. These characteristics are part of the individuality of hand-crafted pottery. You may notice natural glaze flows, small dots or bubbles, gentle warping, or subtle kiln marks at the foot. These are not defects but inherent traces of the firing process that make each piece unique. For these reasons, returns are not accepted.

These tumblers are glazed with crackle glaze and will stain over time. The body has a porosity of ~0.4%, making it food safe.
